Why I Started ScentedVenture

ScentedVenture was born out of one of the most challenging seasons of my life. After my brother passed away, my siblings and I became full-time caretakers for my amazing 93-year-old mother. While I wouldn’t trade that time for anything, I slowly realized I was pouring into everyone else and leaving nothing for myself. My health started to take a backseat, and “me time” became a distant memory.

Then one day, I found myself at my kitchen counter, melting wax, blending scents, and pouring my very first candle. What started as a small escape became my therapy, a way to slow down, breathe, and be present in the moment. It reminded me that even the strongest ones need permission to pause.

ScentedVenture is more than just a candle line. It’s my love letter to caretakers, busy women, overachievers, and anyone who carries the weight of the world on their shoulders. Every hand-poured candle is a reminder to stop, take a breath, and soak in a moment that’s just for you.

I design each scent to tell a story, some are cheeky, some are cozy, and some feel like a warm hug. But all of them are intentional. Clean-burning, high-quality, and poured with the hope that they become part of your own self-care ritual.
